Que je vomisse!

The Missouri Tigers just defeated the Iowa State Cyclones 17-14 in overtime. Normally, I wouldn't care too much about this game; this time, the loss of the Cyclones (combined with the loss of the Huskers yesterday) gives the Colorado Buffaloes the Big 12 North Title and sends them to the Big 12 Championship. I was definitely more thankful on Thursday.

Grant--
Thanks for the weather report. I appreciate your honesty and sincerity regarding this subject. You make me re-evaluate my positions regarding these issues. I will have to do quite a bit more thinking and praying about all of this before I come to my own conclusions, but I appreciate your input.

Also, to clarify my original post, I am sick because the Buffaloes won the Big 12 North and are thus going to the Big 12 Championship. I wanted Iowa State to win today, because that would have denied the Buffaloes that honor. Instead, the Cyclones lost, and I am now looking forward to (hopefully) seeing an errant shot by a Ruf-Nek take Ralphie down. Otherwise, I would be satisfied with a Sooner smack-down on the Buffaloes.

By the way, I just noticed that Bethany wrote substantially the same thing about the ISU-Mizzou game in a comment on my Anguish post three minutes before I wrote this. I guess this blog was scooped again.

Grant--
I don't think it counts if you post before you go to bed. Are you up now?

*yawn* What are cheery morning! Oh, look, my coffee maker is gurgling away and I'm clickity clicking my computer as I write j-hur-nals for class. Only 9 or 10 more hours till sunrise. Yes it looks like it's going to be a beautiful day out...

(Beat that one, Jacob.)

Oooh ... journals. You have my utter sympathy. I'll be up late myself, trying to formulate a thesis on Christian Zionism. Look on the bright side, at least you have SNOW.

On a completely unrelated note, is there a way we can persuade Grant to post his predictions on the weather in the blogosphere? I'd never have to watch the Weather Channel again.

Andrew--
I guess you did get up earlier than I did. Congratulations. It's too bad that I never get up that early at all.

Lindsey--
I wouldn't mention that channel to Grant. (Well, actually, I would--he goes off on a really funny diatribe about the east-coast bias of the Weather Channel.)
